Quality Health Solutions, a Portland, Oregon based health promotion company that offers worksite wellness programs, has achieved the Disease Management Purchasing Consortium International, Inc. Certification for Small Group Outcomes Measurement Honor Roll. Quality Health Solutions is one of only two health promotion companies in the nation to receive this rating.
To achieve this prestigious honor roll rating, Quality Health Solutions had to undergo a full review and validation of its program outcomes measurements by the DMPC for each of its small-group clients. A small-group is defined as an employer group with 50,000 or fewer employees.
According to Al Lewis, Founder and Executive Director of the DMPC, payors are increasingly skeptical of outcome claims in both disease management and health promotion. The DMPC certification process alleviates these worries by setting an industry standard for measurement of program effectiveness in groups under 50,000. DMPC certifies that Quality Health Solutions has achieved certain quantifiable standards in their reporting that most wellness vendors have not. The standards and rules for small-group certification are available on the DMPC website, DMPC.
Brian Thomas, CEO of Quality Health Solutions, welcomed the induction into the Small Group Outcomes Measurement Honor Roll as validating Quality Health Solutions' approach to worksite wellness and that our programs measurably improve the health and well-being of our clients' employees.
